Great companion to the "In Your Face" dvd. First Strike teaches simple yet very effective tools to stop and surprise a violent attacker. This dvd also has violent scenario performances by Sammy Franco himself showing you how it really should be done.

What to do if you exhausted all resources to calm down your opponent but fight is inevitable? Turn it to your advantage and strike first. This DVD will teach you great technique of the first strike. It will show you kicks and punches appropriate for this particular situation; how to use your fingers, palms, elbows… What to do next. Great! Highly recommended.

If you don't know anything about defending yourself then FIRST STRIKE will show you everything to stun an attacker and avoid a full blown fight. If you are a student of martial arts then try to forget everything you've learned and get back to basics with FIRST STRIKE.

This is one of the best DVD's I have viewed and I grow more CONFIDENT the more I watch it. This is the Martial Arts of the future! The techniques are approachable and very effective as well as POWERFUL! This DVD can turn you into a very secure and well equipped fighter when you are out there on the streets. The teachings in First Strike can literally "Bail You Out" when you are in a dangerous situation when you have no choice but to make the first move. I have to say that after watching this great DVD... I feel transformed!

Great DVD for offensive skills! The part that I liked the most was the strategic hand position because I didn't know that it was the best technique that you can have to get the upper hand. Thank you Mr. Franco for letting us learn more about street self-defense!

Thank you Mr. Franco for having the guts to say it like it is! Strike first and with some authority and you have a greater chance of surviving a violent encounter. I love the fact that the tool for delivery is the de-escalation stance! Forget self defense-blast 'em!

Straight and to the point. You are not left having any questions after viewing this DVD in regards to the first strike. This will give you insight into the realm of dealing with confrontations. And when defending yourself preemptively is justified, a well thought out approach to apply it.

Talk about first things first! The DVD First Strike really opened my mind into the thought process of how to deliver and effective first strike when the situation at hand forces your hand!! I feel much more confident now if some street thug ever gets close and aggressive towards me. Mr. Franco has a unique way of teaching you quick, powerful, intelligent, effective, supercharged tools to carry with you when you hit the streets. I have a 4 month old boy now with my wife and protecting my family is first on my list. Thanks for offering such outstanding dvd's.

Sammy Franco covers the most important (in my opinion) weapon in street survival, the pre-emptive strike! Mr. Franco does an awesome job in teaching how set up and lay down the baddie who makes the mistake of entering your space! This concept you won't learn in your typical strip-mall dojo, and Sammy Franco teaches it better than anyone! A must have!

The companion book to this dvd is a must read but the dvd itself helps you see clearly when and how an encroacher must be put down. The attacking combinations are outstanding and the bonus footage at the end is a good review of important knowledge.
