5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 The Look of The Future In Self Defense!
Reviewer: Adrian Ishmael (Toronto Ontario, Canada)

I have to say that I am literally "Born Again" in the world of Self Defense and Combat thanks to Sammy Franco! This video is a MUST and I learn something new every time I watch it. This is the REAL way to pursue Martial Arts and Self Defense as it saves you time and money as there are so many "Rip Off" Martial Arts Schools out there and I have experienced a few of them. But this video is the Honest, Functional and No B.S way to literally "Defend yourself from Dying" in a real life attack. You can transform your body and mind into an alert, effective and PROTECTIVE fighting machine even if you have little or no knowledge in Self Defense. As a 20-year man in Martial Arts and Self Defense, I am happy to have the opportunity to purchase this video and I highly recommend this program. Thank you, Mr. Franco!

Someday all you may have are these two options, defend or die, and I don't think you want to be at room temperature. Mr. Franco takes care of that by taking you through a series of defensive skills and drills that will add a vital part to your well being. Any miscreant that tries to take a swat at you will be in for a CFA awakening.

Reviewer: Ben (Victoria, Australia)

And this video is a great way to learn. Though it is preferable to be the aggressor, you can't always do this due to several reasons, like your line of work. And defensive skills have stopped me from getting smacked in the head several times. What is shown in this dvd.. I know to be effective. This dvd will teach you to reflexively respond to attacks with enough training and allow you to safely keep your head on your shoulders!

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 The Alpha & Omega of Defensive Techniques
Reviewer: Glen V. (SAINT) (Auckland, New Zealand)

This is defensive training 101! For the complete beginner to the advanced martial artist/ self defense practitioner... Regardless of what you currently know about defensive techniques, you need this instruction. This quality training video gets straight to the point and can be understood instantly. The three man hubod section should be taught everywhere! This video not only covers the positives of training with a CFA mindset (which are quickly understood), but also exposes major flaws in existing techniques currently being taught as viable defensive options. I have already changed some of my long term skills for the better since viewing this video. One view will change your training, without a doubt.

Did you really learn how to defend yourself after taking all those MMA classes? I always questioned it when I got older. Why complicate things when you can just get down to the nitty gritty. This is simple and effective.

You can forget about all those questionable defensive techniques you've learned in MMA or boxing class, in this video Sammy shows you the most practical blocks and parries for real life self defense situations. The best defense is a good offense but unfortunately you don't always have a choice. If you find yourself in a defensive situation these techniques are your best bet!

This video completes the very basic skills we need for self defense. One of the main weaknesses in traditional methods is there defensive skills. With Defend or Die we finally have a video that teaches defensives techniques that are based in reality and will help save your life. I think the best way to convey my thoughts is in the following statement. Hypothetically if I or a loved one had to fight a no holds bar match to the death and could only use three items to prepare. One would be Defend or Die and the other two would be Armed to the Teeth Vol. 1 and 2. Nuff said.

Great video that continues to build onto the foundation of skills that we all need to master before moving to more advanced techniques. There are some things even in this video that are tough to master, but it explains and teaches everything in detail. Worth the price!!!

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Breaking down defense
Reviewer: David (Frederick, Maryland)

This video provides viewers with two main goals for self defense; protect yourself and position for counter attack. Sammy Franco breaks down defense skills into several easy to comprehend components. Viewers will learn the science of blocks and parrys, the importance of a correct stance, mobility, and evading skills. The four combat zones are explained, as well as how to take a punch. This critical knowledge is presented in an easy to follow, and practical format.

This is perfect for teaching the essentials of defense. If you need to improve on footwork, blocking, parrying or footwork. This is an essential training video for people seeking more information on the defense aspect of street fighting.

Reviewer: K.P. (Springfield, Illinois)

After the Armed 1 and 2 videos, I'd recommend this one. This video deals with all the defense one needs to fend off the most common attacks you would encounter in a street fight. Not only are the blocks simple, they are effective too. What I like most about this video is the realistic and creative drills that are used to practice your blocks. These drills should be added to any curriculum. This video is a very important tool for anyone who wants to learn reality based combat. The instruction is top notch and I recommend this video to compliment the offensive arsenal in Armed 1 and 2!

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Highly recommended!
Reviewer: Simon McGurk ( Portrush Antrim, United Kingdom)

Speaking as someone from a traditional MA background, and who is occasionally called upon to take local youth groups etc for self defence classes, this video is exactly what I have been looking for - rather than giving people techniques which they can forget, or which can be overly complicated, this is defence stripped back to its most basic - block and parry. The drills shown are awesome and I hope to incorporate as many as possible into my own training! Highly recommended!

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Effective and Simple to Learn
Reviewer: radetri (Providence, Rhode Island)

An excellent introduction to the basic blocks and stances necessary to survive a street fight. Unlike the esoteric blocking systems of many martial arts traditions, the program utilizes techniques that are effective and simple to use particularly under the conditions of an adrenaline dump during an altercation. Equally important is the discussion of predicting an opponent's violence potential and Sammy's techniques for learning to take a punch. This DVD is a must view.

This video is loaded with drills that you can do with a nice size group. They are all easy to learn and very reflexive dealing with our reflexive response. Awesome defensive techniques at best!

I really enjoyed this. The defensive techniques taught are practical and effective. It's good to see that Mr. Franco sees through all the traditional BS and gets right to the point of what works and what doesn't.
