Wow! I can't believe Mr. Franco took the chance to write street self defense for the small man. I can say that this was the best moment for short people like me to learn self defense against taller people. Thank you Mr. Franco!

Unlike in boxing, wrestling, or virtually any other combative sport, there are no weight classes on the streets, and there is a very real possibility that you may one day face an opponent who is much larger than stronger than you are. Mr. Franco expertly addresses the issue of fighting a David vs. Goliath battle in his book, The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fall, outlining the unique characteristics of fighting a larger opponent and describing the skills and attributes you need to come out the victor in such a confrontation. What is unique about this book is it is primary written in a Question and Answer format, which makes reading and digesting the material easier because the information is partitioned in discrete yet related parts and the almost conversational format makes recalling the material much easier. You can't go wrong with this book, 5 stars!
