Sammy shows how in this Submission Fighting Volume 2 more than a dozen different ground fighting techniques. I myself found very interesting and unusual Knee Choke and Double Elbow Break. Once again, I like that Sammy honestly says about the limitations of any submission and dangers which you can expect from your opponent.

    Excellent Instruction!

This volume focuses solely on the guard position and is absolutely loaded with offensive and defensive techniques. As always, the material is presented in a very clear manner and each technique is followed by examples from multiple angles. If you want to learn reality based ground fighting (as opposed to sport ground fighting), this should be your first purchase.

    Solid Ground Fighting Training

The teaching is articulate, well structured and to the point. The topic of submission fighting is viewed from the perspective of street situations, so that the training here covers such things as what to do if your opponent is on top and is trying to strike you. There is a lot of very good information here that is worth watching multiple times and training in. My favorite technique here is the Leg Triangle Choke, which is your response to someone trying to bypass your guard - very little effort is required on your part, and yet there is a massively damaging effect on your opponent who will instantly feel as though his head is bursting and he's losing consciousness (I've been on both sides of this move and it is EXTREMELY effective). This is certainly a worthy addition to my self defense collection.

Want to surprise your opponent with guard techniques that they have never seen before? Then get this. Basic guard submissions are covered in great detail in the great CFA teaching style that is truly one of a kind. But what I was really blown away with were the submission that I have never seen before! Both beginners and advanced practitioners will learn a TON, this is without a doubt my favorite guard video.

I bought the three submissions videos as a package and they are all great, but this one is my personal favorite. Its loaded with different techniques that you can easily flow into from the guard position. Keep the knowledge coming Mr. Franco!

See my review of SUBMISSION FIGHTING FOR THE STREET (VOLUME 1) - this is a continuing review for the series. As always the techniques are taught in an easy to lean manner. These guard position techniques are essential for your ground arsenal. Being mounted on the ground is one of the worst positions you can find yourself in. If you do end up on your back in a ground fight, this video will show you how to defeat your opponent.
