Why a Zippo lighter?



Before we can answer this questions, you first need a little history about the lighter. George G. Blaisdell invented the Zippo lighter in 1932 in Bradford, Pennsylvania. Little did he know that it would grow to be a true American icon! Besides being featured in motion pictures, video games, books, magazines, etc. The Zippo lighter has deep roots in our US military. As a matter of fact, Zippo lighters have been carried by GIs in every war from World War II to Operation Iraqi Freedom.
