I liked it, simple and straight forward. I can't tell you how many Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon BS "skills" I have been taught in the past. Finally, a great baseball bat defense DVD to train from!

I've been training with short weapons, like the baseball bat and rattan stick, for 21 years. The conclusions I've come to from all that experience, Mr. Franco covers on this DVD with great instruction and in a easy way to learn. He even goes into more depth and specifics than I know, I'm glad my ego didn't get in the way of me watching this DVD. CFA cuts out the unnecessary and focuses on the essential. Gives logical reasons why not to use the things that may get you into trouble, always making sure to keep you using only the safest practical techniques. As for blunt weapons defense and usage, this bat defense DVD is a must have. I'm so glad I reviewed Batters up. It helps me get rid of the old habits that could get me into trouble out in the real world. Another home run from CFA.

A baseball bat is a very serious weapon which can kill you or at least, make you invalid. So are you helpless if somebody attacks you with it? No, not at all if you apply effective principles shown in this DVD. Correct baseball bat defense position, movements, timing and disarming techniques these are your countermeasures against vicious bat attack. Highly recommend it!

An excellent compliment to the widow maker and feral fighting dvd programs. The way baseball bat attacks are broken down and explained (in a very easy to understand matter of fact way) by Mr. Franco. We hear about people being bludgeoned (sometimes to death) by people who snap in the streets. I wonder how many of these people would be alright if they had practiced the baseball bat defenses taught on this dvd. Better to know this stuff than to not know it at all.

Lots of people feel intimidated when that thug gets out of a car with a baseball bat or goes in back of his pickup truck and pulls out a slugger and wants to conduct batting practice on your head. SOLUTION: Pick up the dvd Batter Up, press play, and watch. Its that simple. Mr. Franco will show you the angles of swings, how to defend, attack, and make the guy eat the bat. Well not really eat it but you get my point. Seriously though, you will come away with the best and i mean the best way to defeat a baseball bat attack.

With many people carrying baseball bats in their cars you never can be sure if the guy in the car next to you is going to take a swing at you when he loses control. Sammy Franco takes away any fear or apprehension you may feel and teaches you the principles and methods of dealing with this terrible scenario.
